Sunday Life Studio

This was an internal shot of the mill set being used by True North for the BBC programme Sunday Life. The show starts on Sunday April 20th at 10.00am on BBC 1.

Quba have been working with True North since the project was first pitched to the BBC under the working title ‘Life from the LOFT’ back in early 2007.

Quba are providing the digital elements for the show by creating the website www.bbc.co.uk/sundaylife that is current being developed in time for the programme launch.

I would hope that the set will be finished by that point, or it could turn into one of those awful make over shows :-)

Quba Sweet Tins Ride Again!

Quba Sweet Tins!

The beloved Quba Sweet Tins will be making a welcome return for the spring at MIPTV in Cannes. Thanks goes out to Alice who has lovingly built the tins to the standards we have come to love.

The tins will be making their appearance at Cannes within the next couple of weeks, when they will be strategically placed in key areas around the MIPTV festival.

Don’t forget that the Love Quba Website is still live, and is more than open to receiving your crafted submissions.

Blogging

Setting this blog up really shows how far this social medium has come in the last few years. Once you were just happy to be able to write a few words and share them with anyone from around the world, but now there are hundreds of configurations that allow users to make their blogs all singing all dancing sites.

Take our blog here, the images on the right are being pulled (tech word for…..er….pulled) from our Flickr account. While the videos are coming from an assortment of video social sites all aggregated by us through VodPod. I sure you could spend more time configuring your blogging pages than actually writing anything of substance.

On that note I think I better stop….

MIPTV 2008

MIPTV in Cannes is just over a week away now, so there is lots of activity around the mipworld website trying to get our profiles right and online for the world to see.

The list gets longer of things that need to be taken, but importantly a euro electric socket is the order of the day!
